OIL PAINTING

My impasto oil painting with palette knives was born from a fascination with the texture and physicality of paint. Rather than lying flat on the surface, the paint in my work exists as a sculptural presence with each movement of the knife. Much of my painting is entirely abstract, but the work sometimes evolves into more recognisable scenes or portraiture. Below are a few examples, already sold, but more can be seen on the Gallery page.
